प्लास्टिक प्रदूषण की गंभीर समस्या का प्रभाव नेपाल (Nepal) की सनकोशी (Sunkoshi River) नदी पर भी देखने को मिल रहा था। इसी सिलसिले 134 लोगों ने मिलकर सनकोसी नदी को साफ़ करने का अभियान चलाया और इसे साफ़ किया। 

अपनी समृद्ध जैव विविधता के लिए जाना जाने वाला, पेंच टाइगर रिजर्व (Pench Tiger Reserve), महाराष्ट्र, फॉरेस्ट ईगल आउल की आबादी के लिए एक अच्छा प्रजनन स्थल बन गया है। इस पक्षी को स्पॉट-बेलीड ईगल आउल (Spot-Bellied Eagle Owl) के रूप में भी जाना जाता है। 

जर्मनी का दक्षिणी हिस्सा भारी के बारिश के बाद बाढ़ से गुज़र रहा है. इसके चलते अब तक 4 से भी ज़्यादा लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है. वहीँ लगभग हज़ार से भी ज़्यादा लोगों को अपना घर छोड़ना पड़ा है

उत्तराखंड के उत्तरकाशी में ख़राब मौसम के चलते 5 ट्रैकर्स की मौत हो गई. इनकी मौत उत्तरकाशी के सहस्त्रताल में ट्रैकिंग के दौरान हुई है. 4 लोग अब भी लापता बताए जा रहे हैं. वहीँ स्थानीय ज़िलाधिकारी के अनुसार 11 लोगों को बचा लिया गया है.
