Ground Report | New Delhi: Sapiens research and analysis conducted an exit poll for the Uttar Pradesh state that went to Assembly polls. The survey has predicted a second term for the Yogi Adityanath-led BJP in Uttar Pradesh. Exit polls show the BJP alliance is likely to win 207-217 seats and the SP alliance has an edge on 155-165 seats.
The report identifies the likely winners of the Uttar Pradesh State Assembly Elections held in 2022. For the derivation of the result, a hybrid model of research was used, which comprised of qualitative Research: 700+ influencers (Journalists, Doctors, Teachers, ASHA workers, Social Workers, etc.) across 403 assembly constituencies
Elections for the Assembly's 403 seats took place in seven phases beginning on February 10. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.

BJP: 207- 217 seats
SP: 155-165 seats
BSP: 12-17 seats
INC: 7-12 seats
others: 3-8 seats
According to Matrize, BJP will get 262-272 seats while SP will come second with 119-134. Jan Ki Baat allocated 240 seats, while ETG Research predicted 230 and NewsX allocated 211-225 seats. In Uttar Pradesh, the competition is expected to be bipolar between the incumbent Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP) of Akhilesh Yadav, who served the state as chief minister from 2012 to 2017.
NDTV's exit poll predicts a BJP victory in Uttar Pradesh with 242 seats. It showed that the Samajwadi Party won 143 seats.
