मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (IMD) ने कहा है कि अगले पांच दिनों के दौरान उत्तर पश्चिम और पूर्वी भारत में हीटवेव से लेकर गंभीर हीटवेव चलने की संभावना है।

आईएमडी (IMD) ने बताया कि वर्तमान में पूर्वोत्तर और असम के में स्थित चक्रवाती परिसंचरण, बंगाल की खाड़ी से आने वाली तेज़ दक्षिण-पश्चिमी और दक्षिणी हवाओं के साथ मिलकर, पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों में मौसम को प्रभावित कर सकता है। 

विश्व मौसम विज्ञान संगठन (WMO) के दीर्घकालिक पूर्वानुमानों में सोमवार को कहा गया कि ला नीना (La Nina) से अगले कुछ महीनों के दौरान भूमि की सतह या समुद्र की सतह के तापमान में कोई बड़ी गिरावट नहीं आएगी।
