Guna is experiencing intense summer heat today, with temperatures soaring to a high of 41°C and a low of 26°C.The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of rain, thunderstorms, or dust storms later in the day.

Humidity levels are expected to range between 16% and 46%, and winds are anticipated from the west-northwest at approximately 15 km/h. The UV index remains high, indicating a significant risk of harm from unprotected sun exposure.

Weather trend in April and May

In April, the state experienced unusual weather. The first week was hot, with temperatures 2-3 degrees above normal.Hot windsraised temperatures to 39-44 degrees in many places. Ratlam saw heatwaveconditions early in the month.

The second week brought widespread rain,hail, and storms. Around 80% of the state received rain. Despite this, some areas continued to experience heat.

By the third week, night temperatures stayed around 25-27 degrees in major cities. Daytime temperatures hovered between 40-44 degrees across the state. Heatwaves continued in several districts.

Since April 25, Western Disturbance and cyclonic systems have caused storms and rain across Madhya Pradesh. The weather department has warned of continued extreme heat and unstable conditions for the coming days.
