In a viral video, Rahul Gandhi is seen engaging with a reporter in a candid exchange. Addressing the reporter as "brother," Rahul queries him about his work at the BBC and questions whether the organization is linked to the Adani Group.

He expresses incredulity at the idea of an Indian working for a foreign company and remarks on the irony of foreign media addressing certain issues while Indian media remains silent. Rahul Gandhi emphasizes the influence of a few industrialists on Indian media, suggesting that this stifles public discourse.

Who is Journalist Salman Ravi?

In a career spanning over two and a half decades, Salman Ravi, a bilingual correspondent for the BBC World Service, has become a prominent figure in journalism. Born into the lineage of the Sufi saint Hazrat Shah Abdul Quddus, Ravi’s reporting has delved deep into the heart of India’s most pressing issues.

Ravi’s extensive coverage includes insurgency in Central, Southern, Eastern, and North Eastern India, caste conflicts, bonded labour, private armies, and tribal displacement, particularly in Bihar.
