Who is Dr. Mehreen Qazi, to-be Wife of IAS Athar Aamir Khan?

IAS officer presently Srinagar Municipal Corporation SMC commissioner Athar Aamir Khan is reportedly re-married, this time a Kashmiri doctor Mehreen Qazi. Aamir Khan exchanged rings with his future wife Dr Mahreen Qazi and posted a picture of the two on social media with the hashtag: #engagement.

Who is Athar Aamir's wife Dr. Mehreen Qazi?

Mehreen is a qualified doctor and also belongs to Kashmir, Athar's native place. She describes herself as a 'dreamer' and a 'recipient'. Mehreen has an MD in Medicine and is reportedly dating Athar for quite some time now. Dr. Mehreen holds degrees in medicine from the UK and Germany.

A resident of Umar Colony, Lal Bazar, Srinagar, Mehreen is working in a hospital in Delhi. Apart from being a medico, she is also involved in the fashion industry, promoting brands related to women. She has more than 200 thousand followers on Instagram.

She describes herself as a 'disciplined and self-confident physician with a UK license and board certification in internal medicine. “Extensive experience in hospital and clinical settings. Strong background working with minority and low-income populations. Experience in diagnosing disease and providing the best medical support. Specialist in trauma patient surgery. Help in general surgery Good experience doing. Expert in handling all outpatient and inpatient departments” reads her bio on one of her social media pages. She has been working as a Scientific Officer at the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre.

Khan married Tina Dabi on 7 April 2018. Both the toppers met in Mussoorie, where they were taking IAS training.
After training, they got married in 2018. However, the much-discussed marriage did not last long. Khan and Dabi got divorced on 10 August 2021.

Tina and her first husband Athar Aamir Khan separated last year through a mutual divorce after being married for two years.

Tina had said that the divorce process was a traumatic experience but work and spending time with family helped her come out of the shock. “Divorce is a painful experience, it makes you emotionally exhausted. To come out of that difficult time I spent with my family, I kept myself busy with work,” Tina said.

In April this year, Tina Dabi and Dr Pradeep Gawande tied the knot in a private ceremony in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Tina Dabi had made a tweet in the year 2020, due to which there was speculation about the rift in her first marriage.

Putting a picture of a suitcase, he wrote, "You should not carry this baggage. Your past, guilt, expectations, other mistakes and negativity.

After divorcing from Athar, Tina announced her second marriage in March 2022 and after that she married Pradeep Gawande on 22 April. Pradeep Gawande is a 2013 batch IAS officer. He is also 13 years older than Tina Dabi. Pradeep Gawande from Maharashtra is an IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre.

Tina and Athar first met in May 2016, during an award ceremony in Delhi, where both were being felicitated. Aamir reached Tina's house the same evening and then the series of meetings continued. Tina said, "We had been dating since May and for three months I held her, harassed her and then decided to get married."

Athar said, "I have never seen such a sweet person like Tina. I was in awe of her. I consider myself very lucky that Tina came into my life." Tina Dabi is from Delhi and Athar Amir is from Kashmir. Due to being a different religion, their marriage had made a lot of headlines.
