Nuclear power stations exist in both Koodankulam and Kalpakkam. Reportedly, Hussain told the media that sub-inspector Syed Abdul Kader saw UFOs and recorded two videos of them. Hussain stated, "Former DGP Prateep V Philip took pictures of a UFO on Muttukadu sea shore near Chennai just 10 days before this incident occurred." An engineering graduate saw UFOs more than 10 times in the Koodankulam area in August 2023.

According to the DT Next report, Hussain said that sub-inspector Kader had spotted UFOs and also took two videos. Sabir added that the presence of UFOs near nuclear establishments is a global phenomenon, and he mentioned that countries like the US have begun treating it with utmost seriousness.

"This incident happened just 10 days after former DGP Prateep V Philip took pictures of a UFO on Muttukadu sea shore near Chennai," he said. "Syed, an engineering graduate, has seen UFOs more than 10 times in the Koodankulam area in August 2023."

"SI Syed Abdul Kader acknowledged to the media that he had witnessed UFOs at Koodankulam in 2020, and stated that they moved in zigzag patterns before disappearing. After speaking with UFO tracker Sabir, he declared with more than 100% certainty that he had seen UFOs. "The unique way it moved in zigzag patterns, the swift disappearances, and the stillness with which it stood were all unique," he said.

Common UFO sightings in US

UFO sightings reports in the United States are far more common. In February, researchers revealed that a former Pentagon investigator had briefed Congress privately about an incident in 1964 where a UFO blasted an Atlas missile with a dummy nuclear warhead.

The US National Defense Authorization Act has introduced new legislation that eliminates the secrecy surrounding Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). Under this Act, sightings of UAPs must be reported regularly to Congress in both Classified and Unclassified formats.

SI Syed Abdul Kader told DT Next that, he had seen the unidentified flying objects in Koodankulam since 2020. "I am more than 100 per cent sure that what I saw were UFOs after I met with UFO tracker Sabir and discussed with him," he stated. He said he believed the objects' flight behaviour was entirely different from any human technology had achieved. "It stood still, it moved in a zigzag manner, and it disappeared quickly... all of these behaviours were different," he remembered.
