The Delhi Police has approved the proposed rally of farmers on the occasion of Republic Day on Saturday. For this, the police has allowed to take out this rally on three routes.
However, some farmers’ organizations are not happy with the route given for the rally.
Sukhwinder Singh Sabra, member of the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Samiti, expressed unhappiness, “We feel that the kind of permission we have got for the tractor rally is not right. We wanted to go to the old ring road but we had to do with the conditions A large part of the route comes to Haryana where the rally is allowed. “
“We are just saying that we do not want to go on these routes but we have to go to the ring road. We will meet Delhi Police today on this issue, after that it will be decided where we will go. After this meeting Only we will decide the route and time of the rally. “
Earlier on Sunday, Delhi Police had said in a press conference that after the end of the Republic Day parade, farmers will be able to organize their tractor rally on Tuesday, amid tight security.
Delhi’s Special Commissioner of Police (Intelligence Department) Deepender Pathak had said that the farmers want to take out a rally on 26 January itself, so they have been suggested three routes after the Republic Day parade.
Pathak had said that he has assured the farmers that after the rally is over, they will return to their respective places in a peaceful manner.
