Government enterprises dealing with coal and lignite have achieved a reduction in carbon emissions equivalent to 1.17 lakh tonnes of CO2

New research has found that the emissions produced during the first two months of the war in Gaza were higher than the yearly carbon footprint of over 20 of the world’s most climate-vulnerable countries.

The fashion industry, notorious for its significant environmental impact, accounts for 2-8% of global greenhouse gas emissions. It is a major consumer of water and a source of pollution and waste.

It has a short-term warming potential up to 1,500 times greater than carbon dioxide and is responsible for millions of premature deaths annually worldwide.
