Airplane climate change

As an airplane soars through the sky, the intense heat from its engines releases water vapour which, upon encountering the frigid temperatures at high altitudes, transforms into icy streaks known as contrails.

The number of private jets has doubled in the last 20 years, despite being a symbol of luxury and opulence for the wealthy. This increase has led to higher emissions, posing a threat to the environment and climate.

Since 1903 we have not stopped marvelling at ourselves. Aviation has revolutionized the world in all possible areas. In fact, it is something so important to us that, in the last 100 years, it is one of the sciences that have evolved the most. 

The experts of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) warn, in their most recent report, that almost half of the world's population is "highly vulnerable" to climate change

Despite this, in the last 20 years i.e. between 1999-2019, questions on climate change have been asked 895 times in Parliament by 1019 members.
