Modi has made this remark while talking to the farmers of different states who have taken advantage of the farmer schemes.
He also said that confusion is being spread in the country in the name of contract farming.

He said that through the new agrarian reform we have given better options to the farmers and after these laws, the farmers can sell their produce wherever they want and the farmer can sell the produce wherever he gets the right price.
PM Modi asked, “What is wrong with the country’s farmers getting so many rights? If farmers are getting the option to sell their produce online through the year and anywhere, then what is wrong with it?”
On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi also targeted the Mamta Banerjee government of West Bengal.
He said that farmers of West Bengal are not getting the benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. He said, “I regret today that more than 70 lakh farmers and siblings of my West Bengal have not been able to get this benefit.” Over 23 lakh farmers of Bengal have applied online to take advantage of this scheme. But the state government has stopped the verification process for so long.”
Taunting, he said, “People who ruled in Bengal for 30-30 years, they have brought Bengal from where they stood on such a political ideology, this whole country knows. If you listen to Mamta ji’s 15-year-old speech, you will know how much this ideology ruined Bengal. “
