A minor girl was raped by a man while his wife recorded the act on her mobile phone. The video of the criminal act was later uploaded to the internet, in the Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh.
The reported incident took place in the Faizganj Behta police station area. Police arrested the couple on Thursday.
The accused duo have been booked under rape sections and other sections of the Protection of Children Against Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO) and the Information Act, according to a report in PTI.
In her July 12 police report, the teenager stated that the accused, who is from her town, called her at her house and sexually assaulted her. She also alleged that the defendant's wife recorded the criminal act on the mobile phone.
In Another incident, A minor girl was allegedly kidnapped in South Delhi and gang-raped by three men in Mahipalpur, police said on Friday, July 15. They further added that the horrific incident took place after the girl was kidnapped from a market in Vasant Vihar.
The three accused, aged 23, 25 and 35, including the rape survivor's friend, were arrested, police added.
An FIR was registered and the three defendants, who are private taxi drivers, were arrested, police said.
Three men were arrested for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl, police said. The initial investigation revealed that one of the defendants is her friend and the incident occurred on July 6 when the girl went for a walk with him and her two friends of hers, police said. "We have registered the girl's statement under section 164 of the CrPC and she is being investigated further," said DCP (Southwest) Manoj C.
The DCP said he received a call from a hospital around 4 am on July 8 from the girl's father, who said three men had abused her. “She informed the police that on July 6, around 8:30 p.m., her daughter left with three people in a car. When they returned the next day, she revealed her ordeal to her parents,” he added.
“The girl was taken to the hospital late at night and upon examination by a counsellor, she revealed that two male acquaintances, who had met her on July 6, offered to take her in her WagonR. She was taken to an isolated place where two men raped her inside the car. She was medically examined and a case was registered under the relevant sections of the Protection of Children Against Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO) and the IPC”.
