A woman was raped by her fiance after taking her to New Delhi on the pretext of giving an exam has come to light and the video went viral on Instagram. The victim is a resident of the Jahangirabad area in the Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh.
According to the Times Now report, after raping the woman, the accused also filmed the video of the crime and made it viral on Instagram. The victim alleged that the accused, said to be a jawan of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), brought her to Delhi under the pretence of giving her an examination.
The victim’s marriage was fixed with the accused. The police have launched an investigation by registering a case against the accused CRPF Jawan in the rape section.
In her complaint to the police at Jahangirabad Police Station, the victim alleged that the accused CRPF Jawan, a resident of the Pahasu Police Station area, had engaged her.
The accused took the woman to Delhi saying that she had to take an exam and asked her to accompany him.
He later raped the woman saying that he would marry her in court. The accused also recorded a video of the rape and made it go viral on the Internet.
A girl resident of the city’s Jahangirabad police station area filed a complaint with the police station, alleging that her marriage was arranged with a young resident of a village in the Pahasu police station area.
The accused put the victim’s number on social media and raped her by taking her to a hotel in Khurja.
After the rape, the victim became pregnant. It is alleged that by threatening to make the video viral, the accused had fed the abortion pill. The police have started the investigation by registering a case.
