Cricket enthusiasts longing to watch former-international cricketers will once again have their wish fulfilled through Legends League Cricket. In this legendary tournament, numerous former cricket stars from around the world, including India, will be back on the field. Kicking off on November 18th, just one day before the conclusion of the ICC World Cup 2023, this series will extend until December 9th. This means that cricket fans can transition seamlessly from World Cup action to the excitement of the Legends Cricket League.

This second season of Legends League Cricket (LLC) will be played across five cities of India including Ranchi, Dehradun, Jammu, Visakhapatnam and Surat. Meanwhile, a total of 15 matches were played in the last season of Legends League Cricket. However, a total of 19 matches will be played in this season. 

The second season of LLC

The second season of the LLC will commence at the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, and will host the initial five matches of the league. The action will then shift to Dehradun's Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, the capital of Uttarakhand, where three following matches will be held. Subsequently, four games will be staged at the Maulana Azad Stadium in Jammu, marking a historic moment as the stadium plays host to such a significant league for the first time. The LLC entourage will then advance to Visakhapatnam, designated for three league matches. Finally, the concluding phase of the Legends League Cricket will unfold at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat.

Two more teams will increase the madness of the tournament

It's crucial to highlight that last year's tournament comprised four teams— Bhilwara Kings, Manipal Tigers, India Capitals, and Gujarat Giants. This season welcomes the inclusion of two additional teams, Urban Risers Hyderabad and Southern SuperStars, making the competition even more thrilling. Hence, six squads will now contest on the battlefield for the coveted title.

It's noteworthy that the first season of Legends League Cricket was played from Sep 16 to Oct 5 in 2022 in which India Capitals emerged as a winner beating Bhilwara Kings by 104 runs in Jaipur.
