The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light rain for Bhopal over the next few days. The rainfall is expected to cover all major parts of the city, including North, Central, and South Bhopal. Most areas will see light rain on Tuesday and Wednesday, followed by partly cloudy skies for the rest of the week. On Friday, there is a chance of very light rain. No warnings or extreme weather alerts have been issued.
The temperature across the city will remain moderate at the beginning of the week and gradually rise toward the weekend. Maximum temperatures will range from 33°C to 39°C, while minimum temperatures will stay between 21°C and 26°C. This increase may bring slightly warmer days after midweek.
The forecast suggests high confidence in the predictions, with a "most likely" probability assigned to each day's weather pattern. Light rain is defined as 2.5 to 15.5 mm in a 24-hour period. Very light rain, if it occurs on Friday, will be below 2.4 mm. While no major weather disruption is expected, the light showers may bring some relief from the heat and improve air quality for a short time.

For residents, this week offers a mix of mild rain and warm weather. Commuters and outdoor workers may want to carry rain gear early in the week. Those planning events or travel may find Thursday and Saturday more stable with only cloudy skies expected.
The IMD has not issued any heatwave or heavy rainfall warnings, which means conditions are expected to remain manageable. People are encouraged to stay informed through official weather updates. Short rain spells like these can cool the air, but they may also cause minor traffic delays or disruptions in some areas.
