Cotton arrivals increase in Madhya Pradesh, prices remain stable

Cotton arrivals in Madhya Pradesh markets climbed to 14,000 bales, but prices stayed steady at ₹7,300 per quintal. Candy Cotton Fabric prices rose by ₹200 per bales due to strong demand, with 75 RD now priced at ₹53,400-₹53,700 per bales

Cotton arrivals in Madhya Pradesh's markets increased by 2,000 bales on Thursday, bringing the total to 13,000-14,000 bales. Despite this rise, cotton prices remained stable at to ₹7,300 per quintal. Cotton seed prices also held steady, ranging between ₹2,900 and ₹3,150 per quintal.

Rising demand for cotton bales

New demand for Candy Cotton Fabric has driven a price increase of ₹200 per bale. Prices for 73 RD cotton with 9% moisture now range from ₹52,400 to ₹52,700 per bales, while 75 RD cotton with 9% moisture is priced between ₹53,400 and ₹53,700 per Fabric.

Market activity remains limited, but traders and ginners from South India are buying in significant quantities, indicating strong demand for high-quality cotton.
