In Madhya Pradesh, Man gifts Taj Mahal-like home to wife

Ground Report | New Delhi: Man Gifts Taj-Mahal to wife; A resident of Madhya Pradesh presented a replica of the Taj Mahal in Agra to his wife. Just as Shah Jahan built the iconic monument as a symbol of love for his wife Mumtaz, a man from Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh has built a luxurious house as a gift to his wife.

The man behind this idea, Anand Chokse, was always inclined towards the idea of the Taj Mahal and wondered why it was not built in his city, India Today reported. It took three years to build this 4-bedroom house, which is an exact copy of the Taj Mahal.

The engineer who built the house said that there are many challenges in building a house. He studied the real Taj Mahal closely. He sought help from artists from Bengal and Indore for the carvings inside the house.
