Wechat

It is a complete social media platform, almost like Facebook. WeChat is a Chinese multi-purpose messaging, social media and mobile payment app developed by Tencent. First released in 2011, it became the world's largest standalone mobile app in 2018, with over 1 billion monthly active users.

Sina weibo

It has been made on the lines of Twitter in China. Sina Weibo is in a different order of magnitude with 140 million users and 50 million active monthly users, Sina claims, with 10m new accounts signed up each month.

Tencent QQ

Used for instant messaging, Tencent QQ, also known as QQ, is an instant messaging software service and web portal developed by the Chinese tech giant Tencent. QQ offers services that provide online social games, music, shopping, microblogging, movies, and group and voice chat software.
