The trust, which is handling the responsibility of building the Ram temple in Ayodhya, told on Sunday that the work of the foundation of the temple will start by the end of January.
The trust said that the work of soil study is still not completed after seven months. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha area general secretary Champat Rai said that construction work of Ram temple will be completed in 36-39 months from the day of commencement.
Champat Rai said in a press conference held in Kanpur on Sunday, “We hope that construction work will start in June but the study of soil has not been completed even after seven months. The results are not matching. There is sand, scattered sand or some old debris lying under the ground. “
He also said that the Indian Space Research Organization had sent pictures of a stream of Saryu river below the construction site.
The soil was first tested in February 2020. Champat Rai emphasized that the work of laying the foundation will be started only after clear results.
The Trust will launch a public relations and contribution campaign for the temple work from Makar Sankranti. He told that more than four lakh workers of Vishwa Hindu Parishad have been tasked to collect money.
