After Pasoori, list of Pakistani songs that Bollywood has remaked

Controversy Surrounds T-Series’ Release Of Remake Of ‘Pasoori Nu’ In ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ Movie: Kartik Aaryan And Kiara Advani Take Center Stage, Arijit Singh And Tulsi Kumar Collaborate On Vocals

The highly anticipated movie ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ has created a buzz with the release of its new version of the popular song ‘Pasoori Nu’, sung by Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar. Starring dynamic duo Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, the film has been eagerly awaited by fans. The music for the song has been composed by Rochak Kohli and Ali Sethi while Gurpreet Saini and Ali Sethi have written the lyrics.

Kartik Aaryan took to his Instagram account and wrote, “Aadha hai Dil mera..Poora Tujhse Hove Feel The Magic of Love with Arijit’s Midas Touch #PasooriNu Song Out Now#SatyaPremKiKathaTHIS WEEK #29thJUNE.”

The song was originally sung by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill. In the new version, the song’s chorus remains the same as the original, but the rest of the song has been reworked in Hindi. For the inexperienced, the original song is in Punjabi and Urdu. Ali Sethi revamped the song with music by Rochak Kohli and lyrics by Gurpreet Saini.

In a recent interview with a leading magazine, Kartik shared, “When I choose a romantic movie, I make sure that it has something real for the audience to connect to, for them to relate to their relationships. With SPKK, too, the intent is to do something new while keeping the romance alive. I hope audiences love this magic, and that Sattu and Katha’s love story strikes a chord with everyone.”

Why Bollywood copy songs and music of other singers?

Bollywood has very generously copied Pakistani songs, without even giving them due credit. While Bollywood has produced countless original and imaginative songs, there are instances where songwriters face challenges in creating entirely new tunes.

In such cases, they may inadvertently or knowingly rely on existing songs. However, it is imperative to encourage originality and creativity within the industry, encouraging songwriters to push boundaries and explore new musical paths.
