Bette Midler has ironically called for Viagra to be banned in the United States, following the Supreme Court's decision to strike down the country's abortion laws.

“Time to ban Viagra. Because if pregnancy is ‘God’s will’, then so is your limp di*k,” she tweeted, mocking the logic of the court’s verdict.

The Supreme Court recently controversially overturned Roe v. Wade, which set a 50-year precedent and established the constitutional right to abortion. As a result, individual states can now ban medical procedure. The Guttmacher Institute predicts that 26 states will take this action.

The Hocus Pocus actor tweeted an image of text with the following message: "It's time to ban Viagra. Because if pregnancy is 'God's will,' then so is your flaccid ***" at 2, 1 million fans. There have been over 244,000 likes on the suggestion.

Midler, who is set to star in Disney's Hocus Pocus sequel later this year, previously expressed her disagreement with the Supreme Court's decision to strike down American women's constitutional right to safe abortion.

Following the ruling on Friday (June 24), Midler tweeted: “They did. THEY DID IT TO US! #SCOTUS has struck down #RoevWade, enshrined in the Constitution as established law for over 50 years. How dare they?

“This #SCOTUS is absolutely deaf to the will and even the real needs of the American people. #Wake up America"

Appearing on The Tonight Show, Midler told host Jimmy Fallon: “My mom wrote this really beautiful essay about the abortion she had when she was very young, and how if she hadn't had it, she would. She wouldn't have turned me into the person she had become, and I wouldn't exist, and how my parents' lives would have been completely derailed if she hadn't had access to safe, legal health care—essential health care. ”

Hawke continued: “Of course, rich people will always be able to get abortions, but many people, because of this ruling this week, will not only be unable to pursue their dreams but will lose their lives and be in danger. And she just wanted to say, to hell with the Supreme Court.”
