Who is soldier Prakash Singh Rana missing from China Border?

A soldier from Dehradun Prakash Singh Rana, stationed on the Indo-China border in Arunachal Pradesh, has been missing for the past 13 days, causing great unrest among his family members. Prakash Singh Rana was reported missing on May 29. Army officials informed his wife by telephone.

According to the Times of India report, the soldier's wife, Mamta Rana, said that "We last spoke on May 27. He sent me a message that he was fine on May 28. The next day, the battalion's subedar major called, including Prakash. Two men have gone missing from their post on the Indo-China border in Arunachal Pradesh.

With the jawan missing for the past 13 days, his family, including his wife Mamata and their two youngest sons Anuj (10) and daughter Anamika (7), are very concerned.

She added that some senior Garhwal Rifles personnel had spoken to her since May 29 but still no trace of her missing husband could be found. "Both my son and daughter keep asking about their father. But I have no answer to their question, Mamta Rana said.

According to the Indian Express report, “The incident occurred on May 28 when one of the soldiers slipped into a river in the deployment area. The second soldier went to save the first, but it is also suspected that he was swept away by the gushing river.” The location

The two soldiers are suspected of drowning, the source said. The Army is expected to issue its statement on the incident today. Both soldiers are said to belong to the same Garhwal Regiment Unit.
