Bill Gates, the billionaire philanthropist and co-founder of Microsoft, has reportedly been in a relationship with Paula Hurd, the widow of the late Mark Hurd, a former CEO of Oracle, for more than a year.
According to People, the couple has been quietly dating for some time, and sources close to the couple confirmed the news.
Most recently, Gates and Hurd were spotted at the Men’s Single Final event in January but have been seen together at multiple events.
The couple was seen side by side in September 2022 at the Laver Cup, located in London.
Bill Gates and Paula Hurd’s relationship has surprised many, but it’s clear that the couple is in a happy and committed relationship.
Despite the public interest and speculation surrounding their relationship, the couple has remained private about their relationship, and it remains to be seen what the future holds for them.
However, it is always a positive thing to see two people who have gone through loss and heartbreak find happiness and love once again.
Who is Paula Hurd?
Hurd’s late husband and Oracle CEO Mark Hurd died in 2019 after a battle with cancer, 30 years into their marriage. Kathryn and Kelly, his daughters, are his only children. Mark Hurd was 62 years old and had an estimated net worth of $500 million at his death.
According to his Baylor University bio, she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1984.
After graduating from college, Hurd embarked on a long sales career with the software company NCR. Said corporate is one of the most prestigious companies.
Paula currently works as an event developer and organizer for personal, corporate, and charity events, according to her online biography.

Hurd and her late husband contributed to various causes and led numerous fundraisers over the years.
As a longtime donor to her late husband’s alma mater, Baylor University, she helped the school’s Give Light campaign reach its $1 billion mark with a generous gift of $7 million in 2021.
