Recently a tipster had reported that WhatsApp has added voice and video call feature on desktop and web platforms. Now WhatsApp is working on a feature that will enable you to join a missed WhatsApp group call.

All iOS beta users will now be able to paste multiple images and videos simultaneously on WhatsApp. Note that these features are currently available only for some WhatsApp beta testers. But the company will soon release them for everyone.

Missed Group Calls

WhatsApp will soon allow you to join group calls that you have missed. In simple words, if someone invites you to join a group call, and you are unable to pick up the call at that moment, you will now be able to join that call, if the call is not finished.

This feature was spotted on Android in October 2020 and now, WhatsApp is testing it for iOS users. Android and iOS are able to use the beta tester feature. This feature has become a very important feature because it happens many times when someone is unable to pick up the call and later it is not known to be added.

WhatsApp Web Call

WhatsApp will soon allow you to make voice and video calling on desktops and laptops. WhatsApp web call feature is now available for select beta users and may soon be available to all. According to a report by Wabetainfo, Facebook-owned company WhatsApp has started the call facility for testers using the beta version.

The report says that WhatsApp has started calling service on beta version for some people. Wabetainfo has shared screenshots of the voice and video calling feature in beta, with voice and video call buttons appearing on mobile-like chat headers. Whenever you have a call on WhatsApp web, a separate window will pop up, using which you can accept, reject or ignore the incoming call.
