What is the Truth of 25 crore bribe to release Aryan Khan?

Ground Report | New Delhi: Truth of 25 crore bribe; Sameer Wankhede, who is probing the Aryan Khan drug case, reached Delhi on Monday night and will meet NCB Director General (DG) Satya Narayan Pradhan on Tuesday. NCB has started an internal departmental inquiry against Wankhede.

Truth of 25 crore bribe

Wankhede has been accused by a witness of making a deal of Rs 25 crore to release Shahrukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in the drug case. The Special NDPS Court has also not given him relief and has refused to order any court to take action on the bribery allegations in this case.

Independent witness Prabhakar Cell on Sunday alleged that a demand of Rs 25 crore was made by Sameer Wankhede of NCB to release Aryan Khan.

In a notarized affidavit, Prabhakar Cell, who was the bodyguard of another witness KP Gosavi, claimed that the latter had made the alleged demand on behalf of Sameer Wankhede.

Shiv Sena MP shared video of Aryan Khan

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Sunday shared a new video of Aryan Khan in custody. The video was reportedly shot by Prabhakar Cell. In the video, KP Gosavi can be seen holding a phone which is on speaker mode and Aryan Khan can be seen talking to someone.

Sanjay Raut wrote, 'Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said that these cases have been made to defame Maharashtra. It seems to be true.

Nationalist Congress Party's Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik, who has leveled several allegations, including extortion, against NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede, said on Sunday, "We will meet the chief minister and the state home minister. Probe it through a special probe." An organized crime was carried out in this city for a year, crores of rupees were recovered."

NCB issued statement

A few hours later, the NCB issued a statement saying that Zonal Director Samir Wankhede has denied the allegations made by independent witness Prabhakar Cell. The NCB in its statement said, "Since he is a witness in the case and the matter is under court and sub-judice, he needs to submit his prayer to the court instead of social media if he has anything to say."

Following the allegations, Sameer Wankhede wrote a letter to the Mumbai Police Commissioner requesting him to "ensure that no legal action is taken against him by "unknown persons" with "ulterior motives" against him".

In his letter on Sunday, Sameer Wankhede wrote, "It has come to my notice that some legal action is being planned by unknown persons to falsely implicate me in connection with the alleged vigilance issue."
