Internet shutdown across Rajasthan after tailor's murder in Udaipur. Police have been deployed at different places in Udaipur and tension is going on. CM Ashok Gehlot has said that whether there is an international connection with this massacre, will also be investigated.

The Union Home Ministry has handed over the investigation into the murder of Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur, Rajasthan to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The Ministry of Home Affairs has given this information by tweeting.

It has been said in the tweet- the Ministry of Home Affairs has directed the NIA to take over the investigation of the heinous murder of Kanhaiya Lal yesterday in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Any organization or international relations in this matter will be thoroughly investigated.

Kanhaiya Lal, a tailor, was killed by two men by entering his shop in Udaipur, Rajasthan on Tuesday. Both had also made a video of the murder and called it revenge for the controversial remarks of former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma on Prophet Mohammad. Both the accused have also been arrested by the police from Bhima of Rajsamand district.

Both have been identified as Mohammad Riaz and Ghaus Mohammad. Both are admitting to beheading Kanhaiyalal in a video. He has also threatened to kill PM Modi in this video. Meanwhile, Udaipur Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar has said that action will be taken against the accused. He appealed to the people to have faith in the law. He said that at present the law and order situation is under control.

On the other hand, Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan Assembly Gulab Chand Kataria has reached MB Government Hospital in Udaipur. He said that the police should have protected Kanhaiya Lal when he demanded it. He said that this is a 100% failure of the police. In Rajasthan, Additional Director General of Police Dinesh MN has said that the accused are being questioned and whose names will come in the investigation and action will be taken against them.
