अपनी समृद्ध जैव विविधता के लिए जाना जाने वाला, पेंच टाइगर रिजर्व (Pench Tiger Reserve), महाराष्ट्र, फॉरेस्ट ईगल आउल की आबादी के लिए एक अच्छा प्रजनन स्थल बन गया है। इस पक्षी को स्पॉट-बेलीड ईगल आउल (Spot-Bellied Eagle Owl) के रूप में भी जाना जाता है।
