Covid-19 cases have been steadily increasing over the past two weeks. In the figures revealed on Monday, 46,951 cases have been received in the last one day.
Last year, on this day, a public curfew was imposed on the call of PM Narendra Modi and it was like a trailer of a lockdown that went on for months.
Talking about that period, Corona had knocked in India then and by March 21, 2020, 360 cases were reported. Among them, 41 cases were of foreigners. In the same period, PM Narendra Modi appealed for the Janata curfew, which was fully supported by the public.

Roads were completely deserted throughout the country and people were in their homes so that the corona remained outside. But now the new wave seems to wreak havoc even more than last year, Which once again brings back memories of the days of prohibition in 2020.
On the occasion of completion of one year of Janata curfew, it is necessary to know where we have reached in the war from Corona.
Before the Janata curfew was imposed last year, there were only 360 cases in the country, which has now reached 1,16,46,081. Apart from this, in Maharashtra alone, the figure is over 2 lakhs and currently 344646 million people across the country are corona infected.
According to the Health Ministry, the situation in 6 states including Maharashtra is worrisome and the corona is once again seen to be explosive.

According to the ministry, Maharashtra, Punjab, Kerala, Karnataka, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh account for 86% of the total corona cases in the country. So far, more than 1 crore 16 lakh cases have been reported across the country, while more than 3 lakh active cases are still there.
Especially in Maharashtra, around 60% of the cases across the country are being received every day. Cities like Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur have emerged as hotspots of Corona. Even though no public curfew or lockdown has been announced as of last year, but the days of sanctions are definitely seen returning.
On one hand, there are many restrictions including the night curfew in 11 cities of Punjab, then any outsider in Rajasthan will get entry only if he has a corona negative report. Not only this, Madhya Pradesh has also imposed night curfew in Indore besides the capital Bhopal. Primary schools in many states have been closed until further orders.

Night curfew was imposed from Maharashtra to Punjab, Section 144: Lockdown was imposed in Nagpur, Maharashtra till March 21 and now the restrictions have been extended till March 31. Not only this, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray has repeated many times that if the situation does not improve, then lockdown can be the option.
Night curfew has also been announced in Gujarat, cities of Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot and Surat and the operation of government buses has been banned.
