Sunday lockdown in UP, Rs 10,000 fine for not wearing mask

The lockdown has been announced in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday in view of the increasing cases of Corona virus infection.

The state government has announced that barring essential services, all markets will remain closed and there will be complete lockout in the state. Officials say that this is likely to happen on the following Sundays as well.

Apart from this, a fine of Rs 1,000 will be imposed for the first time without being caught without a mask and after that, the fine will be Rs 10,000 if caught.

The UP government on Thursday announced the closure of all schools by May 15. Also, the state board examinations were cancelled.

However Amidst the growing cases of Corona, Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan visited the AIIMS Trauma Center and reviewed the health facilities there.

He said that the cases of corona are increasing rapidly throughout the country. I am going to hospitals and talking to doctors and trying to know what more preparations we need to make.

AIIMS director Dr. Randeep Guleria was also present with him in this tour of Dr. Harshvardhan.

The Union Health Minister said that even though the number of cases is increasing in 2020 as compared to 2020, the pace is fast, but in 2021 you (doctors) have several hundred times more experience and we have understood the seriousness of the disease very well. . We have more confidence today than before.

Talking to the press, the Union Minister said, "The central government has ventilators, but no state government is asking for ventilators from us yet. The ventilators we have given to many state governments have not been able to use them all at the moment. , They do not have a place to install ventilators."

He said, "There is no shortage of anything, experience has also become sufficient, the goods are also sufficient and the facility of testing is also sufficient."

For the last two days in India, more than two lakh new cases of corona have been reported every day.

In the last 24 hours, more than two lakh 17 thousand new cases of corona have been registered in the country and 1185 people have died due to covid-19.
