Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has condemned Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s remarks about Prime Minister Modi.
Shivraj Singh Chauhan said on Saturday that he has tarnished the dignity of his post with his comments.
Hemant Soren made a tweet on Thursday night, referring to the discussion with PM Modi on covid-19.
He wrote, “Today the respected Prime Minister called. He only spoke his mind. It would have been better if they had talked about work and listened to work.”
Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that Hemant Soren tweeted not only for his political gains but also lack of restraint and dignity in his language.
He said, “I condemn it.” PM Modi listens to every chief minister and every person. Soren should think that the PM himself called because he was worried about the situation in Jharkhand.”
“Both the country and Jharkhand are facing the challenge of covid-19. So the Prime Minister only talked about covid-19. If Hemant ji wants to talk something else, he should call the Prime Minister and make him aware of his problem. Who has stopped them?”
Shivraj Singh Chauhan described PM Modi as a “sensitive” Prime Minister and said that he is working round the clock to rid the country of this pandemic.
He said that Hemant ji, the country will never forgive you for making insensitive remarks while accusing the PM for political gains.
