Former IAS officer-turned-politician Shah Faesal, took everyone to surprise as he praised for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and dubbed India as “Jagat Guru”
Former IAS officer Shah Faesal has praised India’s vaccination program as well as PM Modi. He has even said that the world of India is on the path of Guru.
Shah Faesal shared a video of Prime Minister Modi interacting with Covid vaccination beneficiaries in Varanasi, and wrote, “This is more than just a vaccination program. It’s good governance + human capital formation + nation building + India assuming global leadership as a Jagat Guru”.
In the midst of this round of discussions, Shah Faesal has now praised the Corona vaccination program launched by the Modi government. It is also a time for praise in which all opposition parties are criticizing the Modi government regarding vaccination. In such a situation, by speaking in favor of the government, Shah Faesal has given an indication of which side he is on.
Earlier Shah Faesal had a Twitter exchange with BJP leader Kapil Mishra when the latter reacted to the IAS topper’s tweet.
Reacting to Faesal’s tweet, Mishra wrote “370 swaha”, to which the ex-IAS officer responded, “To kya karun mein marjawun (So should I die now?)”.
Faesal announced his resignation from the IAS and became a vocal critic of the government. Special status was removed from Jammu and Kashmir in 2019, on which he tweeted, saying Kashmir would require a long continuous non-violent political mass movement for restoration of political rights.
After resigning from the party, Shah Faesal said in an interview to the newspaper Indian Express that people had made such a perception about him that he was anti-national. He blamed his statements for this and said that in the last one year some of my disputed statements had created such an image of me.
Faesal had said that I disappointed a lot of people who were my well wishers, I want to improve all that again.
Twitter accuse Shah Faesal of betraying Kashmiris
One user, Iqra Altaf, accused Shah Faesal of ‘crossing all limits of boot-licking’.
