"Rahul Gandhi Only Politician Who Dares To Speak Truth": Mehbooba Mufti

PDP President and former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti said on Saturday that history will remember Rahul Gandhi for standing against the current dictatorial regime. Mufti wrote on Twitter that indeed New India is under the grip of a select few and Gandhi is the only leader who dares to tell the truth.

People's Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mufti said, no matter how much you mock Rahul Gandhi, but he is the only leader who dares to tell the truth. The fact is that New India is under the grip of select people and conniving capitalists. History will remember him for standing against the existing dictatorial regime.

The former chief minister of the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir state, in another tweet, said  the Centre had “unleashed” its “pet agency” the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on farmer unions protesting against the three agricultural laws.

“GOIs pet agency NIA is now being unleashed on farmer unions. The rot that has set into India”s premier terror investigative agency can be gauged from the manner in which they are fabricating charges on Kashmiris, farmers & those who dare to dissent (sic),” the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief said.

Earlier Mehbooba Mufti accused the central government of deteriorating health of senior party leader Naeem Akhtar, who was kept in 'illegal detention' in a disorganized government building in the harsh winter of Kashmir.

Mehbooba wrote on Twitter, "Naeem Saheb's illegal detention in a government building in the cold winter of Kashmir has finally affected his health. The ruthless and spiteful attitude of the central government seems to suggest that it is deliberately seeking revenge from political opponents.”
