Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan has requested people on Saturday not to look into the rumors. A dry run of the Corona vaccine is being done across the country on Saturday.

Harsh Vardhan has said, "My appeal to the people is not to look into the rumors." Ensuring the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine is our priority. During the eradication of polio, different types of rumors were blown up, but people took the vaccine and today the country is polio free. ”

Harshvardhan was talking to reporters after visiting the government hospital Guru Tegh Bahadur (GTB) Hospital. GTB in Delhi is one of the places chosen for the dry run of vaccination.

He said, "The feedback received from the dry run in four states was included in the vaccination guidelines and today's dry run happening across the country is being done under these new guidelines. Except for the original vaccine, the whole process is being adopted in this drill. ”

A dry run of vaccine was carried out in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Gujarat and Punjab on 28 and 29 December. The capitals and union territories of all the states of the country have been included in the whole day's activity on Saturday.

Apart from GTB Hospital in Delhi, two more sites have been selected for this dry run. One of them is Daryaganj Primary Health Center and the other site is a private hospital Venkateswara Hospital.
