A tragic incident occurred in Bhopal’s Ratibad area, where a 12-year-old boy, Vishal Chauhan, died after being struck by lightning while returning from a maize field in Kekadia village.

Due to the widespread rain, temperatures dropped across the state. Narsinghpur saw a sharp fall of 11.4°C in a single day, with the maximum temperature settling at 30°C.

“The current system is active due to three cyclonic circulations, a turf line, and a western disturbance,” said meteorologist Arun Sharma.
