Cold weather in Madhya Pradesh has eased over the past two days, with day and night temperatures rising significantly. In some areas, temperatures increased by 5 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature was recorded in Mandla at 33.5°C, while Ratlam and Seoni experienced around 33°C. However, experts predict another cold wave by February 13.
Why is the temperature rising?
Meteorologist VS Yadav said a Western Disturbance reached North India on February 8, bringing cold north winds. These winds have weakened, and a new induced cyclone has formed near Rajasthan, changing the wind direction to a southern flow, bringing warmer air into Madhya Pradesh.
