Timing for Cheetah Safari at Kuno

The cheetah safari at Kuno National Park is offered twice a day, in the morning and evening. The timing of the safari depends on the sunrise and sunset timings, which change throughout the year. The current timings are as follows:

The safari lasts for about 3 hours on each occasion. You need to report at the gate at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time. You also need to carry your original ID proof and a copy of your booking confirmation.

Online Ticket Booking for Cheetah Safari at Kuno

You can book your tickets for the cheetah safari at Kuno National Park online through the official website of MP Forest Online Registration or the official website of Kuno National Park. You need to register yourself on the website and provide the following information:

  • Name, age, nationality, and gender of each visitor
  • ID proof number of each visitor (Aadhaar card, voter ID, PAN card, driving license, passport, etc.)
  • Date and time of the safari
  • Vehicle type and number of people
  • Payment mode and details

Also, You will receive a confirmation email and SMS after the successful booking. You need to print the confirmation and carry it with you on the day of the safari.

Registration

You also need to register yourself at the Kuno National Park office before entering the park. The office is located at Sesaipura village, about 18 km from the Tiktoli gate, which is the main entrance gate for the park. You need to show your original ID proof, booking confirmation, and vehicle details at the office. You will also receive a permit, a vehicle sticker, and a guide for the safari. The registration process takes about 15 to 20 minutes.

Stay at Kuno National Park

If you want to extend your stay at Kuno National Park and explore more of its wildlife and scenery, you have a few options for accommodation. The park has a rest house inside the jungle that can be booked by contacting the Kuno officials. The rest house has four rooms with basic amenities and a beautiful view of the park. The tariff is Rs. 2000 per room per night.

Another option is the Jungle Resort Kuno, which is a former MP Tourism rest house located on the banks of the Kuno River, about 18 km from the Tiktoli gate. The resort has spacious suites, a swimming pool, a restaurant, and a courtyard. The tariff ranges from Rs. 3000 to Rs. 5000 per room per night.

A third option is the Radhika Vilas, which is a heritage resort situated amid the green city of Sheopur, about 60 km from the park. The resort has 30 exquisitely designed rooms and suites, a restaurant, a banquet hall, and a lawn. The tariff ranges from Rs. 4000 to Rs. 6000 per room per night.
