Former IMA President Dr. KK Aggarwal dies of Covid

Dr. KK Aggarwal, who was awarded the Padma Shri award and former National President of the Indian Medical Association, has died from Corona.

Ground Report | New Delhi: Former national president of the Indian Medical Association and Padma Shri awarded Dr KK Aggarwal, died of COVID-19. A statement posted on his Twitter profile said that the Dr. Aggarwal, he breathed his last at 11:30 pm on Monday night.

62-year-old doctor Agarwal had been infected with Corona for a long time and was undergoing treatment at Covid-19 for several days at All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS in Delhi.  Dr KK Aggarwal was on ventilator support for the last one week. Dr. Agarwal was quite active during the Corona crisis. He used to give information related to covid-19 to the people through video on social media.

Apart from this, he was often seen discussing news stories on news channels. "Dr. Agarwal was engaged in making people aware even during the pandemic." In a statement, his family said, "Ever since he became a doctor, KK Aggarwal has dedicated his life to welfare public and raising health awareness." "Even during the pandemic, he made constant efforts to educate the masses.

Even during the pandemic, he made constant efforts to educate the masses. He reach out to 100 million people through numerous videos saved countless lives. However he wanted his life to be celebrated and not mourned," the statement said. On May 14, his family had rubbished his death rumours. "We request you to avoid believing or sharing any such rumours, and pray for his speedy recovery", they had said.
