Research has shown that reducing the number of deaths reduced the devastating effects of the second wave of Corona.

The study said that by the beginning of November 2021, between 30.2 million and 30.7 million people had died due to the code. The official death toll was about 460,000.

By July 2021, 30.2 million people would have died from cod, according to Christoph Galimoto, a demographer at a French educational institution.

That number is comparable to the estimate in a study by a team led by Prabhat Jha, an epidemiologist at the University of Toronto in Canada.

Galimoto designed his study using coveted deaths in four different regions. Nationwide deaths have been estimated by studying the deaths in Kerala, Indian Railways employees, MLAs-MPs and school teachers in Karnataka due to covid.

If this estimate of research is correct, then India will become the country with the highest number of deaths. So far, 800,000 deaths have been reported from COVID-19 infection in the United States and more than 600,000 deaths in Brazil and these countries are at the top of the list.

Speaking to the newspaper, the health experts said that the studies which have analyzed various databases and in which the issue of reducing the number of deaths and challenging the data of the center is worrisome.

India has a relatively low mortality rate from Covid compared to the rest of the world. According to official figures, the death rate from Covid is 0.3% per 1,000 population, compared to the world average of 0.6%.

If the figures of 30.2 lakh to 30.7 lakh in the study prove to be correct, then the death rate in India would be 2.3 to 2.6, which is almost four times more than the global average of 0.6.

However, In view of all indications, the Union Ministry of Health on Wednesday directed the states to reduce or remove additional restrictions on dealing with the third wave of epidemics.

In a letter to the chief secretaries of states, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said it was important that people's mobility and economic activities were not further restricted.

"Currently, as cases continue to decline across the country, it will be important for states to review and review additional sanctions after considering new cases, active cases and positive rates." Finished "

"Given the huge leap in Covid cases in recent months, some states have imposed additional restrictions on their borders and airports. The public health challenge of COVID-19 needs to be addressed effectively, but that too It is important to note that the movement of people and economic activities are not allowed to be affected due to additional restrictions at the state level.
