Indian-origin Rishi Sunak has become the Prime Minister of Britain. The people of India are very excited after he became the Prime Minister. At one time Britain used to rule India, but now an Indian origin man is going to rule Britain. People of Indian origin are occupying high positions all over the world, the main reason for this is their talent. US Vice President Kamala Harris

Kamla Harris is the first woman, Black and Indian-American vice president of the United States. She is of Indian origin is sitting in the post of Vice President of America. Harris was born to Donald Harris, who was from Jamaica, and her mother, Shyamala Gopalan belong s to Chennai.

Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa

Antonio Costa is of Indian descent. His father Orlando Costa was a poet and his grandfather Louis Afonso lived in Goa. Orlando was a writer whose works reflected strong Goan roots and included essays on Rabindranath Tagore.

Suriname's President Chandrika Prasad

Chandrika Prasad Santokhi also has a connection with India. Santokhi took the oath of office in Sanskrit.

Guyana's President Irfan Ali

Irfan Ali's ancestors are also Indian. He was born in the year 1980 in the Guyanese family.

Seychelles President Wawel Ramaklawan

His ancestors used to live in Bihar. Father was a laborer and mother was a teacher.

Singapore's President Halimah Yacob

Halimah was born on 23 August 1954 at her family home on Queen Street in Singapore, to an Indian father and Malay mother. Her parents lived in India. Halima had previously held the position of Speaker in the Singapore Parliament.

Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth

Pravind Jugnauth’s ancestors hail from the state of Uttar Pradesh. He was born into a Hindu family of Ahirs in La Caverne. Father Anirudh Jugnauth has been a big name in Mauritius politics.
