Madhya Pradesh saw a sharp rise in plastic waste from 2020 to 2024. This report analyses recycling, co-processing, and road construction using plastic waste.

The Amrit Sarovar Mission launched on 24 April 2022, aimed to build 75 water bodies in each district to mark 75 years of Indian independence. The target was 50,000 Sarovars, but mission exceeded expectations with 68,827 completed across 28 states & 5 UTs.
