Farmer organizations protesting against agricultural laws say that the tractor rally to be held on 26 January will be a historic march in which more than 1 lakh tractors are expected to be involved.

According to the news published in The Economic Times , this tractor will go 50 kilometers on Outer Ring Road on Republic Day, in which this demonstration will also pass through Rajghat.

Farmer leader Kulwant Sandhu says that farmer organizations have appealed in Punjab and Haryana that no tractor or youth should stay in the house till January 24 and they should all reach Delhi.

Sandhu said that the youth have been asked to bring tractors and trolleys which are fully covered and have quilt-mattress arrangements because 'we have to struggle for a long movement and pressurize the government by showing them their strength' And cancel the laws and go home with your success.

The newspaper writes that according to intelligence reports, on January 26, one and a half lakh tractors will be ready to enter Delhi.

However Farmers Unions have announced a tractor parade on Outer Ring Road in Delhi. Sukhdev Singh Kokri Kalan, general secretary of Bharti Kisan Union (Ekta-Ugrahan), said, 'We are all ready to participate in the tractor parade. Our first batch will leave from Khanouri (in Sangrur) and the second one from Dabwali (in Sirsa district of Haryana). He said that in view of the enthusiasm of the people, more than 30,000 tractors belonging to our union will be part of the parade.

Kokri Kalan said, "There will be posters with union flags on tractors, with slogans like 'Kisan Ekta Zindabad', 'No farmers if not food'." Kokarikalan said that tractors would also carry some trolleys to accommodate the women during the parade. Many women will drive tractors in the parade.
