There is doubt over whether former cricketer and BCCI chief sourav Ganguly will attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally to be held in Kolkata on the 7th of March.
However, on Tuesday, the BJP has made it clear that the decision of whether or not to attend the rally will be only by sourav Ganguly.
BJP spokesman in Kolkata, Shamik Bhattacharya said that if sourav Ganguly’s health and the weather here allows him to come to the rally, we will welcome him.
Shamik Bhattacharya said, “We know that Saurabh is at home and resting. If he feels that his health is right and the weather also allows it, we will welcome him. We think if he will be in the rally So they will also like it and the people who come to the rally will also be happy. But we cannot say anything about this at the moment, it depends entirely on them whether they will join the rally or not. “
Sourav Ganguly has been discharged from the hospital on January 31, almost a month ago. He was hospitalized for angioplasty due to blood clotting in the blood cells and has undergone heart surgery.
Prior to this he had a heart attack after which he was confirmed to have Triple Vessel Disease.
There is currently no statement from sourav Ganguly in this whole matter.
Assembly elections are to be held in West Bengal from March 27 to April 29, which has already intensified the election campaign here. This time the competition here is believed to be between the Trinamool Congress and the BJP. BJP has given its full strength in the election campaign here.
Before the elections, many Trinamool Congress leaders have switched sides and joined the BJP.
There is also a discussion in the political corridors that Saurabh Ganguly can join the BJP before the elections. If sourav Ganguly goes to PM’s rally, then such speculations can be stamped.
