However, Shani’s mother, Ricarda Louk, Shani's mother, said in a self-recorded video message distributed on the Internet on Tuesday that a family friend in the Gaza Strip told her her daughter is alive in a Hamas hospital.

In the video, Ricarda is heard saying, "She urged the German government to further assist in getting Shani to safety. We're now informed that Shani is alive, though critically in a condition due to a grave head injury. Each minute is critical. We're not just asking...we're demanding the German government act swiftly."

""Do not argue about the jurisdiction question. You must act quickly to get Shani out of the Gaza Strip," urges the woman to the German authorities. "This is my desperate call to the entire country of Germany to help me bring my Shani back home healthy," she adds."

Shani, a German-Israeli citizen, was attending a music festival near Kibbutz Re’im when the attack occurred. The assault by Hamas operatives resulted in at least 260 confirmed fatalities and numerous hostages. "A graphic video circulating on social media showed Hamas militants mishandling Shani's lifeless body in the back of a vehicle, which led many to believe that they had killed her."

Shani Louk alive after Hamas abduction

Shani Louk, a tattoo artist, attended the Supernova music festival near the Gaza Strip when Hamas fighters unexpectedly infiltrated it. These militants subsequently took her captive and paraded her through the streets in the back of a pickup truck, an incident that a viral video brought to widespread attention.

"In a recent interview, Shani's family disclosed that her bank had sent them notifications indicating the use of her credit card in Gaza, suggesting the possibility of a robbery."

This unexpected attack on Israel, carried out by Hamas via land, sea, and air on Saturday, led to the abduction of over 150 individuals. The escalating conflict has various groups holding these hostages at different locations within Gaza, and the uncertainty shrouds their well-being and whereabouts.

The majority of these abductions occurred at the music festival, which Shani Louk and approximately 3,500 other young attendees were enjoying when it came under attack by Hamas gunmen on the same fateful day, resulting in the tragic loss of up to 260 lives.
