Who is Mohd Sajid

Mohd Sajid, a 22-year-old barber residing in Budaun, Uttar Pradesh, has recently become the center of a tragic incident that has shaken the local community. Known for running a barber shop near his neighbour Vinod's house in Baba Colony, Sajid's life took a dark turn on a Tuesday evening.

The sequence of events unfolded when Sajid entered Vinod's house, seeking a loan of ₹ 5,000. His claimed reason was the urgent medical needs of his pregnant wife, as reported by NDTV based on the family's statement.

Tragically, the evening escalated into horror as Sajid allegedly attacked Vinod's three children - Aayush (11), Piyush (7), and Ahaan (6) - with devastating consequences. Aayush and Ahaan lost their lives in the attack, while the third brother sustained injuries in the struggle.

Yuvraj, the surviving brother, recounted the harrowing ordeal, expressing confusion over the sudden violence inflicted by someone familiar from the neighborhood. "I don't know why he murdered them," Yuvraj lamented, reflecting the shock and disbelief surrounding the incident.

"When she went inside to take money, Sajid declared his feelings of unwellness and his desire to go for a walk on the terrace. He took my sons (deceased) with him. He also summoned his brother Javed to the terrace. Upon her return, my wife discovered Sajid and Javed holding a knife. Sajid even attempted to attack my surviving son, inflicting injuries on him. Both of them were in the process of fleeing when Sajid informed my wife that he had finished his task for the day," read the FIR.

Sajid attacked both the brothers Ayush, (12), Ahaan alias Honey (8) when they were playing with their third brother Yuvraj (10).

Misunderstanding led to tragic incident

According to police reports, Sajid visited Vinod's house to borrow Rs 5,000, citing his pregnant wife's hospitalization and treatment needs, as reported by NDTV based on the family's statement.

"Sajid told my wife that his pregnant wife was in the hospital and he needed money for her treatment," Vinod mentioned to NDTV. "I had no dispute with him… One of my sons was able to escape his attack and warn his mother," he added.

During the visit, Sajid reportedly switched off the lights on the second floor and attacked Vinod's 12-year-old son, Aayush, with a knife. Tragically, when Aayush's younger brother Ahaan walked in, he too became a victim of Sajid's attack.

"Sajid caught Ahaan and killed him and also attacked their other brother, who was able to run away and hide," Vinod recounted.

After the incident, Sajid allegedly fled the scene with his brother Javed, who was waiting outside on his bike. Both Sajid and Javed are accused in the crime, although police are still searching for Javed. An FIR has been registered against both brothers based on the family's claims and police investigations.

SSP Budaun, Alok Priyadarshi, said, "He attacked and murdered the two children. Despite the crowd's attempt to hold him back, he managed to escape."
