Fourteenth World Health Assembly

The meeting of WHO member states that began on Monday is called the World Health Assembly, or WHA. This is the 74th meeting of its kind. This year's meeting has gained special significance in the context of the global corona virus epidemic. The top leaders of WHO member countries are participating online.

There are 194 member countries of the WHO and the same number of countries are participating in the WHA this year. The World Assembly on Health will run until June 1.
