Tremors were felt across Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) around 9:04 am on Thursday, July 10. The earthquake caused momentary panic among residents in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and Faridabad.

Initial reports suggest a 4.1-magnitude earthquake, with the epicentre located in Rohtak, Haryana, about 60 kilometres from Delhi.

The quake lasted a few seconds. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
