Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that in order to strengthen the agricultural sector in the country, several provisions have been made in the budget to increase the income of farmers, with the help of Agriculture Infrastructure Fund to strengthen APMC.
He said, "All these decisions show that there is a village in the heart of the budget, we are farmers."

On the general budget presented in Parliament today, he said, "This budget has been presented amidst extraordinary circumstances".

Modi said that "this budget is particularly focused on those sectors which will increase wealth and wellness at a fast pace".

Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan has welcomed the government's decision to increase the health sector funding in the general budget and said that the health and welfare of the people have found a place in the center.
