Twitter is experiencing problems that prevent users from using the social network normally, Downdetector reported 2,838 outages in India at 7pm.
In addition to causing problems when logging in, failures in the platform also close previously open sessions. The problems also manifest themselves in tools like TweetDeck, where it is not possible to upload images or schedule content.
At the moment, no problem has been reported from the official Twitter API Status service, but it is not ruled out that an incident will appear soon.
Recently, the owner of the social network Elon Musk sent an email to the staff, published by various specialized media, in which he announced that to create 2.0 it will be necessary to “work many hours at a high intensity” and that only those who offer “exceptional performance” They will make the cut.
“If you are sure that you want to be part of the new Twitter, please click yes on the link below,” says the message, which adds a link to a form that each employee can fill out. “Anyone who has not done so by 5 pm ET tomorrow (Thursday) will receive three months’ compensation,” adds Musk, giving a deadline of 5:00 p.m. Thursday, New York time (22:00 GMT).
“It feels like all the people who made this place amazing are leaving. It will be extremely difficult for Twitter to recover from here, no matter how ‘tough’ the people who remain try to be, ”assures a now former worker to the US portal.
