On July 25 through an Instagram video, MP Pragya Thakur appealed citizens to recite Hanuman Chalisa 5 times a day till august 5 (day fixed for Bhumi Pujan of ram mandir in Ayodhya) to get rid of coronavirus.
The situation in the hands of the world is something very catastrophic and affecting people physically and mentally. Those who are affected by Corona are getting isolated and treated with intensive care. While those who are not yet affected are living under constant fear and isolating themselves. As scientists and organizations all over the world are working from their fingers to the bone, many people are coming with their own solutions.

From ministers chanting ‘Go Corona Go’ in a hope that this deadly virus will be affected, to the latest advice by BJP MLA Sadhvi Pragya Thakur to chant Hanuman Chalisa (a prayer in praise of Lord Hanuman) 5 times every day at 7 PM till 5 august.
“When people... Hindus from across the country recite the ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ in one voice, it will definitely work and we will be free from coronavirus...This is your prayer to Lord Ram,” said Thakur.
The faith of MP will definitely give some hope to the followers. However, this could not be taken as a cure.
Another speculative cure was presented by Swami Chakrapani Maharaj, president of Hindu Mahasabha.who said cow urine and cow dung can be used for treating novel coronavirus disease. He also said that a special yagna will be performed to "kill the novel coronavirus and end its effects on the world". "Consuming cow urine and cow dung will stop the effect of infectious coronavirus. A person who chants Om Namah Shivay and applies cow dung on the body, will be saved. A special yagna ritual will soon be performed to kill coronavirus,"

Another, a seemingly less anecdotal cure was presented by Founder of Patanjali, Yog Guru Baba Ramdev. Patanjali earlier this year presented ayurvedic cure of coronavirus in the market called Coronil. The Ministry of AYUSH asked to stop its advertisement until Coronil claim is proven.
Which later was called as just the vitamins to fight corona and not the ‘cure’. In her Twitter video, Bhopal MLA added “Conclude this ritual by lighting lamps on August 5 and offering ‘aarti’ to Lord Ram at home,” few years back, Thakur came into the headlines for her claim on how her cancer was cured by Gaumutra (Cow Urine).
