7th Pay Commission: Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) has invited applications for the post of Trainee Junior Engineer (JE). A total of 212 posts are to be filled through this recruitment examination.

To be selected for the job, candidates must pass a computer-based examination. The application process has started and it will end on December 28.

Candidates can pay their fee till 30 December. The exam will be held in February 2021.

Candidates can apply online at the official website upenergy.in sitting at home.

The exam will be of three hours with 150 questions for 200 marks. Candidates will get one number from each correct answer while 0.25 number will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Candidates have to get at least 30 percent marks. A category-wise merit list will be released, based on which the candidates will be selected. Selected candidates will have to undergo training programs.

Age: Applicant must be at least 18 years of age to apply. The upper age limit is below 40 years. Age will be calculated from 1 January.

Education: Candidates having three years diploma course or relevant certificate or degree can apply for the job.

Fee: Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1000. For SC, ST candidates who are domicile of UP, the fee is Rs 700. The fee for physically challenged candidates is Rs 10.

UPPCL Trainee JE Salary:  Finally the selected candidates will be hired as per rules with DA and other allowances on the 7th Pay Commission pay scale with a minimum salary of Rs 44,900.
